Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust (SASH) aims to ensure staff in employment, experience a working environment for which they are physically and psychologically suited, that provides and promotes not only the individual employees health, but also the general well-being of the patient, visitor and other employees.
This app directly links you to support that the Trust has available to you and external contacts it has sourced.
Part of our welfare offering is a new peer support programme, which is known as Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM). This programme is run by Trust staff volunteering to meet their colleagues/peers. CISM is designed to offer all staff a short-term helping process to help steady and alleviate your natural response to an event that has caused you stress at work. All referrals are confidential at the time of referral. At your first appointment, if at any time the peer volunteer has any concerns for your personal health or the health of the patients you care for, then they will inform you and discuss the need to escalate their concerns to a senior.
Self-referral to our team is on a voluntary basis, if you would like to meet a fully trained colleague for an initial chat please click on the referral button below.
